Cristiano Ronaldo’s last 12 months just keep getting better and better. After winning Euro 2016, two Champions League titles and La Liga, Ronaldo now tops the list of the highest-paid athletes in the world for 2017, according to Forbes.

Ronaldo tops the list with a total earning of $93 million for $2017, with Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James second with $86.2 million. Barcelona star Lionel Messi is third at $80 million, while tennis legend Roger Federer is fourth with $64 million and Golden State Warriors’ star Kevin Durant is fifth at $60.6 million.

Ronaldo earned a $58 million salary from Real last season including bonuses, with sponsors adding the rest. Not chump change.
