Ryan Fitzpatrick had a career day yesterday. By that I mean he played likely the worst game of his career.
His line…20/44 for 183 yards…a whopping 4.3 per attempt, to with 6 INTs.
That’s right, Lebron style, not one, not two, not three, not four….you get the point. One of the INTs was returned for a TD. The Jets also fumbled twice, one of which was also returned for a score.
Rex Ryan felt so bad about the performance, he fired his RB coach.
The Jets signed Fitzpatrick to a big contract prior to the season. While this is only one game, it was a terrible one.
Arrowhead is a tough place to play, but damn Fitz. Maybe this is why the Jets have 17 QBs on their roster.
The Jets will look to rebound this week against the Seahawks, who could be without QB Russell Wilson. It may not matter though, Wilson doesn’t play in the secondary.
